Community outreach and engagement has been and will always be a cornerstone of Corso Ventures. Giving back to the community while exploring ways to better the lives of those in our neighborhood sits squarely at the center of who we strive to be. With that in mind, Corso Ventures created the Doing Better Together Initiative; an employee-led program designed to lead the Short North in community involvement and social awareness.
The Doing Better Together Initiative not only enables our staff to explore opportunities that enrich our neighborhood, but also provides each employee with a voice on how we can collectively make steps towards social change.
Corso Ventures works closely with several local charities and organizations throughout the year by hosting fundraising events, providing volunteers, and orchestrating clothing drives. We are proud to have partnered with organizations such as the Make-A-Day Foundation, the Columbus Urban League, the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer, the Tim Tebow Foundation, and the Urban and Shelley Meyer Foundation.
As our city, our nation, and our planet continues to evolve with our modern times, Corso Ventures has begun to seek out modern solutions in an effort to become leaders of tomorrow. In 2020, we formed our Community Advisory Board; a collection of Corso Ventures employees made up of individuals from a wide array of cultural, religious, and ethnic backgrounds to help advise our company as we progress into the future. With a focus on inclusivity and diversity, the Community Advisory Board is working to expand our social awareness and devise initiatives that positively impact our Central Ohio community.
